A.  A bit old, but a custom project for a Lego version of Shaun of the Dead was proposed by user Yatkuu. It lovingly replicates the famous Winchester pub, and all its participants, zombies and all. It unfortunately got the axe by Lego due to it’s violent content (dohoho), but still a real treat to see.

B. Mr.Clement’s Petit Lapins was a surprise for it’s somber simplicity. The figure has some dispute about it’s price tag, but I do enjoy the sculpt nonetheless. It has also been said that inside the head is a hidden, hand-made face sculpture by the artist.

C.  Tomopop put out a review of the Aegis ART WORKS figure.  Her sculpt is crisp and she has a handsome paint job. Alter does not skimp on details. The silver isn’t my favorite, but I imagine alternative methods may have bee jarring to the rest of the figure. I do like the shine from the gold, and the contrast of her eyes against the blend in her hair. Like usual, the price tag is a bit rough.  With things like this I would prefer a pose-able figma, but the attempt to replicate the art book is still fairly impressive.

D. I originally lost the link to Mishmish and was so relieved to find it again! They’ve released two figures so far, the buzzingly darling Miel and the gnawably expressive Cozo. I really like their designs and their choice of expressive colors. Really looking forward to seeing how they develop!

However this mix-crazy relationship goes, _this_ recently popped up and has been rather the most subtle hint to Half Life 3 probably out there. Also, damnably funny. I wanted more Cave Johnson and I got it.

So who knows how they’ll continue this tease fest, but its maddeningly enjoyable. Or maybe I’m going enjoyably mad.

And as far as relationships with game companies go, Valve’s mannerisms certainly beat certain others.

(PS ;w; more loveable robots please. Personally, that is all I ask for.)

I’m afraid to say not much progress of JM&C. Aiming to correct that later today.Just now phasing out of a solid week of work, so readjusting back to a set schedule for productions.

There have been some adjustments to the site, namely channels for comic-specific and art-specific blog updates.  This will especially come in handy with future projects.

I haven’t had any time to play SWTOR really.  I was alerted however about gifts for April subscribers, and found this leetle darling in my inbox.

A. Previously I had mentioned ThreeA and Valve’s handshake over a new toy line. P-Body and Atlas have photographic confirmation and their intricate details are stunning. Looking very forward to seeing these two finalized.

B. I’m not really interested in the concept of Accel World, but man are there some lovely looking figures from the series.  The detail, articulation and sleek design makes it perfect for posing. I especially like the mix of emerald and polished silver.

C. Joystiq ruffled my dashboard with the mention of Sam & Max figures. Namely due to the dire need of merch for these two.  Both releases are naturally filled with guns and insanity. The bubble figures are decently priced as well.

D. Legos are perfect for mechanized entities, friendly or not. MacLane has made an adorable robo-bounder armed to the teeth named QuadBot. I highly recommend checking out their gallery.

E. Last, a particular favorite. Jon Paul Kasier has made a  custom of Jazz from G1 Transformers. The inks on this thing are damn impressive, most notably on the mouth and crown which reveals a strong, pop-out reflection.

As mentioned before I’m starting a drawing challenge for May with the theme of “Office Sirs”. I’ve uploaded the list here. The requirement is at least one drawing a day, minimum 30 at the end of the month.
